Bylaws
On this page, you can access the bylaws of the Imperial County Central Committee is the governing body of the Imperial County Democratic Party. The Central Committee originally adopted the Party's bylaws on December 7, 2022. They were amended on September 14, 2023 and on April 1, 2024.
The state Elections Code, specifically Sections 7200 through 7244, govern the conduct and organization of all 58 Democratic county central committees in California, including ours. It also gives the Central Committee broad authority to establish much of its own internal bylaws, structures, and procedures.
Code of Conduct
The first three sections of Article 5 of the Imperial County Democratic Central Committee (ICDCC) bylaws are collectively referred to as the Code of Conduct, and are required to be compiled and published separately for ease of reference. A copy of the Code shall be given to all new members and be available to the public on its official website.
