State Democratic Party Delegates & Officials
Every four years, in the odd year following a presidential election, the California Democratic Party (CADEM) elects five statewide officers at a convention. They are elected by the State Central Committee, which consists of delegates from all the county central committees, delegates appointed by the statewide party officers and other elected Democrats, and delegates elected directly by Democratic voters at the Assembly district level (ADEM).
